Today we’ll be talking about what you can do about unbroken concrete that has settled: concrete leveling (or mudjacking). If you take this economical route, you don’t have to go through the expense of tearing it all up and having it replaced.

The concrete in my garage settled about three-quarters of an inch, so Crackerjack Mud Jacking came in, drilled some holes, and forced material under the concrete to restore it to the correct height. You can see this process beginning at 00:56 in the video.

Mudjacking ensures water won’t run
into the gap between the wall and the ground
and cause further settling.

By doing this, it ensures water won’t run into the gap between the wall and the ground and cause further settling. It only cost $695 and took 30 minutes. All this was done without tearing out any concrete.
